Christof Wörndle has been running the country inn since the mid 90’s.
The host and head of the kitchen does not only provide service in his own restaurant. Especially in winter and for special occasions, Mr. Wörndle spoils professional athletes, or well -known personalities from his wide circle of friends with fine South Tyrolean specialties.
And so it does happen during the ski season that Christof and his team provide meals for the national ski team of the USA. In the summer of 2010, Christof prepared meals for the German national soccer team, which was preparing for the World Cup in South Africa and training in Girlan.
In 2006 and 2012 Christof Wörndle was honored by being invited to cook for the 400 Guests of the famous "Harvest Ball" at the winery of von Daryl Sattui in Napa Valley (USA). Every year a chef from Italy is invited to cook for this event.
In early times there was a mill at Bad Turmbach, later Bad Turmbach became a farmers’ bath, which was in use for nearly two hundred years.
