There are numerous walking and hiking trails around the large Montiggl lake, as well as small access points to get into the water. Bathing fun is guaranteed for families with children at the ‘Lido Montiggl’, where the little ones can let off steam in the sand in a small bay by the lake, splash around by the lake or in the heated children's pools or explore the lake in a round boat. The public swimming pool has green sunbathing lawns directly on the lake and around the pools, a restaurant with pizzeria, a small bar on the jetty, two heated children's pools, a large swimming pool and various slides, including the longest water slide in South Tyrol.

The idyllic little Montiggler See lake is located in the middle of the Montiggler Wald nature reserve. Bathers can make themselves comfortable on the green sunbathing lawns in the small lake resort or get into the water at small access points around the lake.
The Kleiner Montiggler See snack station is open from April to mid-October and is a popular stop-off point for hikers, walkers and sports enthusiasts. You can reach it on foot or by bike, or use the free shuttle service that takes you directly from the Montiggl forest car park to the snack station.
