The country inn with the restaurant of Bad Turmbach in Eppan Berg

Bad Turmbach in Eppan Berg situated 500 meters above sea level lies in the beautiful upper Etsch valley of South Tyrol, which is dotted by castles and ruins. Vineyards surround our country inn.  In summer we spoil our guests, who can dine in our private garden beneath ancient apple tress, rare even in South Tyrol. We also offer comfortable rooms and a pool surrounded by lawns in which to relax or sunbathe.

South Tyrolean life style and hospitality are notable features of our house.

Winter break and opening times of the restaurant at Christmas

Our country inn will take its winter break on November 7th, 2021 and will reopen at the end of March 2022.

We would like to thank our guests for visiting us in summer 2021. The difficult situation on the job market and the almost constant understaffing of individual positions in our company, which we were unfortunately unable to fill, have pushed us to the limits of our resilience in the past few months. Nevertheless, we did our best and apologize for any inconvenience caused by the understaffing!

We would like to take this opportunity to express our special thanks to our always reliable and tireless team, which has always stuck together and given its best in this extraordinary season despite all measures and restrictions! Many many thanks!

During the Christmas season we open our restaurant from December 2nd, 2021 to January 9th, 2022 from Thursday to Saturday from 12 noon to 3 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., and on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The restaurant is also open on December 8th, 2021.

The restaurant will be closed on December 23rd and 24th. On December 25th, 2021 the restaurant is only open for lunch from 12 noon to 3 p.m.

We look forward to your visit and to see you again in 2022!

No Törggelen at the Zinnenberg residence in autumn 2021

Unfortunately, due to the currently applicable Corona regulations regarding distance and room ventilation, it is not possible for us to guarantee Törggele operation in the Zinnenberg residence in autumn 2021. Unfortunately, due to the special architecture, we currently have no way of complying with the applicable distance rules and thus keeping the risk of infection as low as possible without reducing the number of guests so drastically that it is still profitable.

We hope for the understanding of our guests and that the situation will soon turn for the better so that we can soon welcome you back to the old walls.
